Why am I doing here ? Why am I doing here ? I tried not to think about what had happened, but my fear was too strong. It was too late. I was shut in a tiny room without light. I didn’t know what this place was. All had happened too fast, I didn’t all of it. It was two days ago, I was with my friend and I proposed her to go for a walk when suddenly a man strangled us, and he brought us here. When I recovered consciousness I was on my own. I didn’t know where my friend was. I was scared. There was no way to go out, no window, and only one locked door .There was a smell of blood, but it was pitch dark and I couldn’t see. I heard strange noises, like a child squealing. Where was I ? At a psychopath’s ? A murderer’s ? Maybe.. I felt a pang of fear, I didn’t want to die. I had to find how to escape out of here. At that moment the man entered the room. When he opened the door a beam of light illuminated his face. He was the biggest man that I had ever seen, his eyes were piercing, his hands were as large as Sawbones and he held a knife in one of them.I was petrified, but I decided to react, and when he approched me I bit him. He shrieked, and he immediately switched on the light. When he did that, I understood better why I had smelt blood. I saw the wall and I felt my stomach heaving. I was confused, frightened, the wall was covered with corpses. It was red with blood. This man had a sick mind I tought. The victims were nailed on the wall, there were maybe a dozen. I was shaking all over, this monster had removed their skins and cut their head off. This vision made my flesh creep, I felt weak. Then the man cornered me against a wall, I was blocked . He moved towards me and took me in his hands with an incredible violence, I felt stiffled. I didn’t know where he would take me or what he wanted to do with me, but I couldn’t stay in this room forever. I tried to struggle but nobody heard me, nobody could help me, nobody was here except me and the man who wanted to put an end to my life. The man put me on a table, and held me there, I was terrified. “ Why are you looking at me that way ? I ‘m human, it ‘s the natural course of life.” He said. I wanted to say “you haven’t got a lucky-charm face*, you know” but fear made me dumb. He took his knife and I felt the blade over my skin, and then the terrible pain. While I was suffering, the giant man seemed appeased and smiling. Then I lost consciousness.

- Honey, I have killed the last duck. Shall we keep this one for Christmas dinner ?
